...Update...

Kade is still in Vegas and having the time of his life!! This is him at his cousin Skyler's house. (Thanks for the pic Jiffy-I stole it!) We talk on the phone every day, and he says the funniest things. He told us that he watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua, and a dog in it says, "ees meentee" ( 'it's minty'. My best version of spelling out the way he was saying it with his Spanish accent.)It was so funny. And then he was singing to us, "Little bunny foo foo hoppin through the forest, picking up the filters and boppin them on the head". Why does he think it says filters? Ha Ha. And every time he talks to his brothers he has to say, "Guess what?? Chicken Butt!" And every time, they all laugh. He has asked once on his own without us trying to convince him, if he could come home. I told him that he had 2 weeks left and then we would be there. He said he was ok with that and then told me all of the things Lanece and Ty were doing to spoil him rotten!!! I'm afraid after 2 more weeks, he won't want to come back!! I am seriously on a countdown to when I will see him again. As of today, we are at one week and four days!! I can't wait!! Thanks all, who have been helping Lanece with him and keeping him entertained and spoiled. I hope he is being as big of a helper as he tells us he is!!
Love you Kade!! See you very soon!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S !!!!!!

We had a fun day for St. Patrick's. The boys woke up to get ready for school and were very excited to be able to wear as much green as they could; shirts, shorts, socks, probably even underwear!! (I didn't check!) The boys came home from school to find that the leprechaun's had been dancing and running all over the house!! They left their feet prints all over the tables and floor. We didn't catch any, though. They knew the boys were on their way home and ran out before they got there.

We then had a very green dinner. Green fettuccine alfredo, green salad, green beans(literally), green Kool Aid, and green tinted garlic bread. For dessert? Lime Jello polk cake with green frosting.

It was a very fun, green, day and the boys LOVED looking for people who weren't wearing green so that they could pinch them!! It was VERY funny when the person they would pinch did have green, and they got pinched 10 times back!!

Was this a dumb move???

My Kade is gone!!! Lanece was here for the weekend to visit. She left earlier today, (Sunday) and Kade begged to go back with her. After much debating and deliberating and him getting ready to go before we ever said yes, we did. We let him go. I was hesitant, and I didn't want to do it in the end, but he wanted to so bad! When I was finally ok with it, I helped him pack, and off he went. Bye Bye Kade. But once he was out the door, I started to cry and never stopped since. I don't know how to feel right now. I want to say I'm glad that he can have the experience, and that he is so independent that he would want to go at only 4 years old, but man, I miss him! He is suppose to be there until April 3rd, but we aren't sure yet if he'll make it that long. We tried very hard to help him understand just how long it would be, and after a while, he said, "Everyone stop telling me it's a long time. I KNOW!" If he doesn't make it until April, we'll go get him, but I think it's me who won't make it until April!! Would anyone who reads this ever do this with your child? Am I a neglectful mom? I would have never done this at an earlier age, and if it were any farther than Vegas, no way. I can run down and get him at any time. But I don't know if it's sadness I'm feeling because I'll miss him, or if it's that I made a dumb decision that no other mom would ever do?!! I would like opinions, please. Help me out here.........
