After Christmas
On Friday after they got here, we went ice skating, which was a blast and I had too much fun to get any pictures of that, but even little Skyler ice skated on her little shoes. It was too cute. On Saturday we had what we thought was going to be a big baby shower for Fin. We invited everyone Lanece and Tyler knows in Utah, and now we know who their true friends are!! HAHA
just kidding...I'm sure you all have a great excuse for not showing up!! After the shower, we all went sledding!! Again, too much fun to take pictures...next time. Sunday night, we went to the lights at Temple Square, and I finally got some photos. So, that's where all of these came from. You can't live in Utah and not go to Temple Square at Christmas time. It takes away the spirit of the holiday if you miss it!! We love it!! And we love when our families come to visit. It is so much fun to go crazy doing winter things!
THE HOLIDAYS
I'm not big into the video game thing, but I gave in with the Wii because you could get a good work-out if you play right. Anyway, they were so excited! It made christmas so fun to have them be so excited. Notice the veins popping out of their necks!
Me and the sister-in-laws got socks and chapstick from Kimmy. Gotta love fun socks!!
Kimmy is enteraining the boys before gifts...
These are my trees. The boys got to decorate their tree however they wanted, and I got to decorate mine. I love the traditional tree with all the ornaments full of memories, and the boys each get to create an ornament every year to take with them when they grow up and move out, so that tree is full of their creations. When I was younger, I remember going to my Aunt Jannis' house and watching her set up these beautiful trees that looked like they belonged on display somewhere. I always wanted to have a tree like that some day. So, I do. My tree belongs upstairs for all to see who come to the door, and the "creative" tree goes downstairs for Santa to put gifts under. It's next to the chimney so it's easy for him to get to! My best compliment on my tree was, "who did you have do your tree? Will they come do mine?" I told them, sure I will!!

I have had one sick boy after the other ever since the weekend after Thanksgiving. Not one day has gone by that at least one of my kids (or me or Jonny) wasn't sick. I'm hoping we are on the down of things now, but we haven't had strep throat or pink eye yet. I think those are the only common sicknesses that haven't gone through our home. (knock on wood) The haven'ts are a much shorter list than the haves. Right now it's my turn to have it all. It's after one in the morning, and it's the only time I don't feel too bad, plus, I've been sleeping all day, so here is my little post to try and keep up with the blogging world. Tomorrow, if I feel any better, I will probably post some pictures. Don't hold your breath! I did get time to look over other's blogs, and that was fun to see everyone's happy holidays!! Check in again soon, and maybe you will see something new...hopefully.
