Welcome to the fam baby Griffin!!

This is Necey and Kade and Little Fin
Kade and Ethan holding baby

We made signs to hang around the house for when
they brought baby Fin home (cute poem i found online)
We went to vegas Thanksgiving weekend, and Jonny came home with the 2 older boys that Sunday, and the 2 younger boys and I stayed and waited for baby Griffin to come to the world.
Finally, after a week of being there, he came!! December 5th, 6lbs 14oz. They brought him home from the hospital on Sunday the 7th, and that was a very bitttersweet day!! We were so happy to have the little guy, and so humbled by the sacrifice from the birth mom. Birth moms are awesome!!(as I always say anywhere I can give my opinion!) We shed a lot of tears: happy and sad, but feeling oh so blessed to have a new baby in the family, no matter how he had to get here. Now I just need to figure out a way to get them back to Utah so that I can see him grow!!
Congrats Lanece and Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love You guys!!!!!!!!!

Twilight, again!?!

We sure did go again! It was 1000 times better the second time!! After the first time, there was a lot to think and talk about. So seeing it a second time made all of that make more sense. I was very sceptical of the characters, and still wasn't sure if I liked them all, but I do now that I watched it again. Edward is still not my pick, but he does play a good vampire. My very most favorite is Alice. She is adorable! I wish they showed her more. I guess that is saved for New Moon! I can't wait to get home from Vegas and go see it, again. This time with Jonny!! (I'm sure he will think it is cheesy and dumb. Oh, well. I love it and therefore will own it one day so get over it!! Ha Ha)

Twilight,... finally...!

I had the opportunity twice to go and see Twilight before Thanksgiving weekend, but Lanece and I made a pact to go together. Originally she would have come up opening night and naturally we would have gone to the midnight show, but with the circumstances of the baby and all, we ended up going to Las Vegas and seeing it Thanksgiving weekend instead. Thanks to all who had seen the movie and didn't tell me their opinion or give anything away. That made it way more fun for us! So the night before we went, Mikayla and I made a paper chain out of vampire teeth to count down the hours until the movie, and back in July, Lanece and I made our shirts that we had planned on wearing the first night we went to see the movie. So Saturday afternoon we went with mom, Mikayla, Tiffany, Erin, RuthAnn, Lanece and me. We had anticipated this it seems like Forever, and were glad to have finally gone. The only opinion I will share is that if you haven't read the book, the movie might not make sense to you. So if you want to see it, read the book first! It was a fun girl's night out and even more fun to see the Twilight book come to life. Lanece and I are going to see it again tonight!!

Annual Orgill Thanksgiving Football Game!!!!

We had our annual football game at the park in Lanece's neighborhood. We do it every year on thanksgiving morning. Usually someone gets hurt, but we did good this year. No major injuries. (2 years ago we had to take Brayden to the instacare cuz he dislocated his shoulder.) We had a of fun. It was the shower curtains versus the kitchen curtains (the material I made the flags out of). The shower curtains won!

Want To Hear My Greatest News Ever??
My best friend ever, who happens to be my sister, Lanece, is getting a baby just before Thanksgiving! I'm going down to Vegas during Thanksgiving weekend to be with her through her experience. It will be so fun to see this side of adoption. I have seen a mom place her baby before, so I know that side, and now I get to experience the other. How fun!!
With it being thankful month, I want to say that I am thankful to moms who know that the right thing to do is to give their baby a home with the love of a mother and a father, if they can't offer that themselves. If there weren't moms out there making these right choices, then good people like Lanece and Tyler who may not have babies another way, wouldn't get to experience the greatest part life; CHILDREN.
I'm also thankful that I have my 4 boys and their great dad to help me learn how to raise boys! I just don't know what life would be like without them. They are my life!
Good luck Tyler and Lanece. Our prayers are with you! We can't wait to meet little McD junior!

So I have to tell this story about our hike. Kade was walking in front of me and he said, very frustrated, "mom, these shoes are giving me problems!" I asked him why, and he said, "They aren't letting me see the rocks on the ground and I keep tripping on them. And then it makes me jump in the air. These shoes make me jump! I'm not doing it the shoes are!" I just started laughing. I have 2 kids that blame things they do on anything else but themselves! Kids are so funny!!

For family night on Monday, we thought it would be fun to get one last hike in before the snow. And today as I am posting this, it is snowing, so, good call. Anyway, we went up to Mueller Park Canyon by our house and hiked about a mile up. It was wet from the rain before, so the trail and trees were dark, and the leaves were bright and vibrant. These pictures don't do justice for how it really looked. It looked awesome! When we hit a mile, it was time to come back down because it started to get dark. It was only 5:00 p.m. I hate the time change! The boys love hiking and we had a good nature walk as a family. We saw deer tracks in the mud and deer on the mountain side across the canyon. I'm already looking forward to the spring so that we can go again!

These are our lovely Halloween costumes. Of course, Jonny, the woman, Taleesha, the man, Spencer, an evil doctor, Tayten, a dead prisoner, Kade, a dalmation, and Ethan, a monkey! We had a lot of fun trick or treating, even though it rained. Hard. After one trip around the neighborhood, the 3 youngest were done. But not Spence. He needed more candy. So I took him back out, and that's when the rain really came down. The door answerers wanted to know if I was his mom or dad, and they gave him handfuls of candy because we were the only crazy ones out in the pooring rain. It's fun to have halloween on a weekend!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!! Can you tell who is who? haha! I think Jonny had a little too much fun getting dressed up! We had a party with the young marrieds of our ward, and this is our deciding costume pick. There was a contest, but they ended up drawing from a hat. We totally would have won!

Thanks Necey for your blog help. My blog would not be this cute without you. Can't wait until you have babies and you display your baby's pictures all over your blog and everyone can see how cute you are as a mommy! You certainly have had plenty of practice with us(your siblings), my kids, and Sky! Love you tons!
I love this picture! This is my baby, Ethan. Who is no longer a baby. Actually, I like to describe him as a monster. Doesn't he look so sweet and innocent though? This is the Ethan I want public to see. This is also the Ethan I wish I had. But, I don't know where the real Ethan came from. The devil, I think! He is definately in his terrible twos. But we love him anyway! Kade used to be pretty naughty, and he is my best child now. So, when Ethan is being the naughty kid I know so well and I want to put him outside and hope he runs far away, I remember that Kade was like him and isn't anymore, and I look at this picture. Cuz he really is ssooo cute!!

Ok. I finally have pictures to display of Spencer on his baptism day. I don't have very many memories of my baptism, and I think it is a very big day that should be remembered, so we went all out. I don't know what I will do when it's time to plan a missionary party or a wedding for that matter. Good thing I don't have girls. We'd be in trouble. By the way, he was baptized by Elvis! hahaha

I can't believe it's fall! The kids are back in school, and now I have 2 in school all day and 2 at home... it's deffinitely more quiet around here! It's a lot of fun to watch just Kade and Ethan and the things they are doing... the other day Ethan went into his bathroom and rolled up the carpet on the floor and said "see ya! I'm going to Begas!" (Vegas, of course!). We were laughing so hard! They are so funny with what they come up with! It's always such an adventure!
We took a small weekend camping trip with my family over Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun... it rained on us one day, but nothing seemed to be soaked or flooded. We all went hiking through Bryce Canyon which was a lot of fun... that's of course where Kade came up with all his funny "one-liners"... all of which are too "funny" to put on here!

Spencer turned 8 and was baptized at the beginning of September. My sister and I took donuts to his class at school, and I really think he felt like he was the coolest kid there! His face when we came into the class just lit up! It was so much fun to see him at school with all his friends. His baptism was such a neat experience for our family! We're so proud of him for choosing to be baptized and set such a good example for his younger brothers! Tayten is in soccer right now, and is finally loving it! He's deffinitely come a long way from when he first started... a few seasons ago, he would not run up and down the field unless Jonny was holding his hand! Now, he's out there kicking the crap out of that soccer ball and making goals like no one's business! He's awesome at it!!
I just recently got a job cleaning the Bountiful Temple at night from 9pm-1am. It's only part-time for now, but I thought, what better place to be cleaning! I'm hoping it works out and hopefully brings us the blessings we need!
Jonny just turned 28!! I know, he's so old!! I can't believe how time is flying... before we know it we will be sitting in our rocking chairs on our front porch watching our grandkids make a mess in our yard! ha ha ha

Well, that's us in a nutshell for now... we'll post again soon!

RA! RA! RA???

The boys thought it would be fun to dress up in my old cheer uniforms. I told them they could as long as I could take pictures. They agreed. What they didn't know was that I was going to post them on the blog. Ha Ha! Blackmail.

Wedding cake, mmmmm!

I have had numerous requests to see the wedding cake I did this summer. So here it is. And it doesn't look quite as good as it tasted! Chocolate with strawberry cream cheese filling. mmmm.

Fun things we have done this summer!

Here are just a few things we did this summer. We have had a good one, and can't believe that school is about to start! Spencer will be in 2nd grade and Tayten will be in 1st. 2 in school full time and 2 at home. That's gonna be weird! Anyway. We went to Bear Lake with Jonny's family, and to the Days of 47 parade (which by the way, I will have a float in this parade next year so watch for it!), and we had Ethan's 2nd birthday! My baby is 2!!! How sad!!! They grow up too fast!

BREAKING DAWN!

Ok. For those of you who are trying to out do me. (Allison) I read the book in 10 hours over the period of 3 days, to be exactly specific. But I stopped to do my dishes, and laundry and make food. Everything else got put off! I have nobody to talk to about it though, I don't know anyone who has finished it. That is more frustrating then trying to read it fast and get it over with so that I can get back to normal life again! Anyway, it is super good! I'd read it a hundred more times.

I TOLD YOU I WOULD NOT BE GOOD AT THIS!

I have not posted anything forever and a day! Truth of the matter, well, there really is no excuse. Except life. The last few days have been taken over by Breaking Dawn. But now that is finished, and maybe I can post some updated photos or something. (I do highly recommend that book to anyone. Especially if you have read the first three in the series. FANTASTIC!) Who knows. But check in periodically and maybe you will see something new!!

Do these kids know what "putting toys back" means?

So I am quite computerly challenged, and I can't figure out how to turn this image the right direction, so turn your head to get the full effect. This is the toy room. Can we say, boys are messy? I used to help them clean it, and as soon as I thought they were old enough to do it themselves, I stopped. And this is what I get out of it. Uncle Brayden was about to move in and this was soon to be his room, so I had to step in. After 4 hours of cleaning, organizing(again), and taking bags and bags of stuff to the DI, we were actually able to walk in, and Brayden was able to fit all of his junk in there. The boys have to be supervised when they play in the toy room now. I don't have 4 hours to waste cleaning up after them! If it ever gets this messy again, no more toys will be in my house! I'm totally open for suggestions of how to teach 4 boys how to be somewhat clean and organized. Obviously, the things I do aren't working so well...
