William Ray Baker 1945-2011 Our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend peacefully passed away on the evening of April 3, 2011 with his family at his side after a long fight due to complications of Colon Cancer. He was a kind, hard working and gentle hearted man who loved his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ with all his heart. He was born March 20, 1945 in Provo, Utah and shortly after adopted by his parents Irene Leila Belcher and William LaFora Baker. Bill grew up in Orem, Utah and many parts of California. 5 months..

Ash turned 5 months old on the 7th of March. She is SO stinkin cute I can't handle it! If I don't stop and realize that I have a home and other kids and a husband etc. etc. to worry about, I would get carried away with holding Ash all day and kissing her and loving her and making her laugh. She weighs 14 lbs. 4 oz. She is trying so hard to roll from her back to her stomach. She almost gets over, and then goes back down on her back. She loves her voice, she is always talking and squealing. She is so ticklish and laughs very hard when she is tickled. She grabs EVERYTHING that you put in front of her, even the hair on your head, which she does to her brothers all of the time! She grabs her own fingers and tries to pull them off. It's really funny. And she always has the tip of her teeny little tongue sticking out. Every time we go out of the house, we get stopped by strangers who tell us how absolutely adorable she is, and Ash ALWAYS gives them her cutest smile. It's like she knows that they are admiring her, so she has to show off. It's funny. She practices sitting up by herself and has almost mastered that. She has recently been very curious about watching us eat food, and you can just see the wheels in her head spinning. I'm sure she's thinking about how we are doing this cool thing called eating, and when does she get to try it. Soon baby girl, very soon!
We just love her to death and love watching every change she goes through. It seems at this age that there is something new developing with her every day. It's so fun.
She is definately a fun surprise and we are blessed to have her in our family.
I will be getting a new camera soon and will have plenty of picures to put on here! Until then, enjoy my boring stories! :)

:(

I am sad. For a few reasons. I have gone a WHOLE year without getting sick. (and being pregnant doesn't count cuz I'm not talking about that kind of sickness) No flu, no colds, nothing like that. Saturday I woke up, totally sick. It is late Sunday night, and I still feel yucky. I am also sad because it is the 7th of February, which means that my baby isn't such a baby anymore. She is 4 months old!! I can't believe it! I LOVE LOVE watching her grow and change and get cuter and cuter, but I love the babies, and they grow too fast! I am also sad, because as I sit here at this late evening hour and type, I can hear my baby in the other room cough while she is trying to sleep. Have you ever heard a little baby cough?? It is down right sad!! She was diagnosed last Sunday with a mild case of RSV (yah, last Sunday right after her baby blessing) and is not better yet. It probably doesn't help that I am sick now too and have to feed her every 2 hours, therefore have to hold her. We are probably just passing germs back and forth to each other. I guess BFF's share a lot of things. I am sad because my baby is losing her pretty, long hair. It is all over the place, except on her head. She still has a ton, but with the amounts I am finding on her clothes and blankets, I'm not so sure she'll have hair at this time next month. I am also sad because my birthday is fast approaching. I think about this once in a while and I don't like to, but I am going to be so old this year!! (30!!!) What can I do to turn back time! I am sad because of this weather. Cold, cold go away. And don't come back! EVER! I am sad because I was looking through my pictures, and I don't have as many of Ashlyn as I wish I did. And there is nothing that can be done about that. The days are gone. She is growing up and my camera is missing it all. I am not doing good with the camera this kid around. How terrible. I am also sad because it's 2am, and I'm not in bed yet. It is totally unexcuseably my fault, but still... Somebody, please leave me a cheery message to make my day better. I'd really appreciate it.

Back 2 school

School is in session!!! Yessss!!! We had a blast with 2 weeks off of school, but going back is always fun! (for me, anyway) Here are a few things we did besides celebrating Christmas and New Year's.

The boy's went shopping, so Ash and I had a little slumber party and I painted her nails. She picked purple.
Here is one of her many darling outfits. She reminds me of a cabbage patch. heehee!
We took the kids to temple square. We went the night before Christmas Eve. Man! It was a madhouse! I guess everyone had the same idea as us. It was also terribly cold!!
I had to throw this photo in. It's a great shot of her teeth, and look how long her hair is getting! It reaches her eyes when it's wet. Too cute!
When we got home from temple square, there was a bag on the back porch and these jammies were inside. All the boys asked for footie pj's this year. Santa always brings them early so that they can wear them on Christmas Eve!! Look at the cute red dot in the middle!!

A few other things the boys had fun doing during their break were: renting movies, playing games, playing the Wii, going to see Yogi Bear (which is actually pretty cute), eating at Chuck-a-Grama (as Ethan calls it, since grandma Lili always takes them there), going ice skating, having a little New Year's party and staying up until 1am, playing in the snow, shoveling all of the older people's walks for them and deying the money they tried to pay, and I think the best part for all of them was getting to spend extra time with Ash. They just eat her up! They are more excited lately about playing with her now that she talks, smiles, and tries to grab their faces!!
We had fun with the boys while they were home, now we can enjoy the quiet and greet them when they come home from school!!
